A neighborhood court docket has issued a non-bailable warrant towards Louise Khurshid, spouse of former Union minister and Congress chief Salman Khurshid, in a case of misappropriation of over Rs 71 lakh obtained in central grants by Dr Zakir Hussain Memorial Belief run by her. Chief Judicial Justice of the Peace Praveen Kumar Tyagi issued the non-bailable warrant towards Louise and Belief secretary Athar Farooqui and stuck August 16 as the following date for listening to. In March 2010, the Belief had obtained a grant of Rs 71.50 lakh from the central authorities for the distribution of wheelchairs, tricycles and listening to aids amongst bodily challenged individuals in 17 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
