Officers in new Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s workplace to work in two shifts


New Delhi: Ashwini Vaishnaw, hours after taking cost as the brand new Railways Minister in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cupboard, directed the officers and workers of the Railway ministry to work in two shifts. An order issued by Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday (July 8, 2021) acknowledged that the primary shift will begin at 7 am and finish at 4 pm whereas the second shift will begin at 3 pm and finish at 12 am in midnight. 

In line with DJ Narain, ADG PR, Ministry of Railways, the order has been issued just for MR cell (minister’s workplace) and never personal or Railway workers. 

“Minister of Railways has directed that each one the places of work and workers of the minister’s workplace will work in two shifts i.e 7:00 hrs16:00 hrs and 15:00 hrs -12:00 midnight with speedy impact,” Narain stated.
