Two hospital in Delhi to begin giving Sputnik V doses by finish of this week


New Delhi: Two hospitals in Delhi will begin administering the Russian COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V by the tip of this week. 

“Delhi`s Madhukar Rainbow Youngsters`s Hospital will begin administering Russia`s COVID-19 vaccine Sputnik V tentatively by June 20. The appointment slots might be booked through CoWIN portal,” hospital officers informed ANI.

They stated the precise variety of obtainable doses can solely be confirmed by the tip of this week.

Sputnik V can be prone to be obtainable to folks at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi by the tip of this week.

The vaccine was administered to workers of Dr Reddy`s Lab on the hospital on Sunday, sources stated.

Sources stated 1000 doses of Sputnik V reached the Apollo Hospital and out of those 170 doses had been administered to lab workers.

After Covishield and Covaxin, Sputnik V is the third vaccine to be authorized by the Authorities of India to be used within the nation.
