Kanpur: An Uttar Pradesh police official has been accused of overpowering a girl, and hitting her as he sat on high of her in Kanpur Dehat district.
The incident reportedly befell on Saturday and a photograph of the incident whereby the cop was seen sitting on high of the lady was circulated extensively on social media.
Studies said that the sub-inspector Mahendra Patel had an argument with the lady in Durgadaspur village whereas he was searching for an individual.

“He slapped after which dragged me right down to the bottom. He then sat on high of me and began hitting me badly. The villagers intervened and rescued me,” Aarti instructed the media individuals.
The crew was within the village to arrest Shivam Yadav, who in response to the police, had threatened a candidate within the panchayat elections.

Kanpur Dehat Police Launch Clarification
The Kanpur Dehat Police launched a video to counter the allegations. Kanpur Dehat Superintendent of Police Keshav Chaudhary in relation to the viral picture associated to Police Station Bhognipur-Chowki Incharge Pukhrayan stated that the crew was attacked by the household of Shivam Yadav together with the ladies members.
Kanpur Dehat SP stated that the Bhognipur police in cost fell on the lady whereas Yadav’s household claims that the officer acted in an unruly method as they refused to comply with his calls for.
